ABB – Dubai

I recently had the opportunity to work on a photoshoot for ABB in Dubai, in collaboration with Media Zoo London. The focus of this project was centred around a crucial theme: safety. We aimed to convey the message that a strong commitment to safety at work allows individuals to lead enjoyable and secure lives both on and off the job.

Shooting in Dubai presented its own set of challenges, particularly with the blistering heat and the unique circumstances of working during Ramadan. The high temperatures caused some issues with the camera equipment, particularly when the gear would seize up in the intense heat. A valuable lesson I learned is to always bring a cool box to switch out camera bodies and keep everything running smoothly!

Despite these challenges, I found the people of Dubai to be incredibly warm and welcoming. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, and it was inspiring to see how committed everyone was to creating a safe working environment. The vibrant energy of the city and its diverse culture added an extra layer to the shoot, making it a memorable experience.
