Deutsche Post DHL Worldwide
Two weeks, three continents, a dropped lens, and a stolen MacBook—this was one of the most memorable corporate and lifestyle photoshoots I’ve had the pleasure to work on. Commissioned by London’s Brand Union and their client Deutsche Post DHL Worldwide, this international project took me from Europe to North and South America, and finally to Southeast Asia. The shoot covered multiple locations, capturing the essence of a truly global brand through corporate photography, lifestyle images, and authentic environmental portraits.
On shoots like this, you often wear many hats—photographer, art director, location manager, and even client liaison. Fortunately, on this occasion, I had the privilege of travelling with an incredible team from both Brand Union and Deutsche Post. While we were lucky to have hair and makeup artists in each location, the responsibility for equipment hire and managing lighting setups fell squarely on my shoulders – a crucial factor when the lighting gear failed to show up on the baggage carousel at certain airports!
The schedule was tight – shooting during the day, editing and backing up imagery on long-haul flights, and finding time to catch some rest in between. It was a whirlwind of travel, but we captured some amazing moments along the way. The sheer variety of landscapes and environments provided the perfect backdrop for creating dynamic, high quality imagery that aligned with the client’s brand vision.
Whether it was snapping corporate portraits, team building shots, or vibrant images showcasing the global scale of Deutsche Post DHL, this shoot was both challenging and rewarding. The opportunity to capture the unique spirit of such a large multinational corporation while working across different cultures made for a truly unforgettable experience.
If you're looking for a photographer with experience in global corporate photography, lifestyle shoots, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-location projects, I'm ready to bring your vision to life – no matter where in the world your business takes us!
