West Dental
What began as a fairly easy drive along the M8 soon turned into a challenge thanks to a myriad of road closures in Glasgow’s West End. After navigating the blocked streets, I eventually had to park the car and lug my equipment half a mile on foot to reach the location—a lifestyle photoshoot for The Fresh marketing and communications agency and their client, West Dental, situated right in the heart of the West End.
Stepping into a dental practice can be a daunting experience for many, especially when it’s housed in a building that has been on the same site for over a hundred years and reportedly comes with its very own ghost. But despite the history and ghost stories, the atmosphere at West Dental was far from spooky. In fact, the patients walked in with a smile and left with an even bigger one, a true testament to Karm and his excellent team in Glasgow. Their approachability, professionalism, and modern take on dental care really shine through, making every visit a positive experience.
For this shoot, I worked to capture the welcoming environment and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that Karm and his team have created. I was able to highlight both the beautiful, modern practice and the human side of the dental experience—patients feeling comfortable and confident in the care they received. As with all my work, the goal was to ensure that the images reflect the brand's values and help potential clients feel at ease about visiting the practice.
Despite the initial challenges of getting to the location, the shoot went smoothly, and the final images showcased the warmth, professionalism, and expertise that West Dental is known for.
