Portavadie Resort on the Cowal Peninsular

I had the pleasure of working on a lifestyle photoshoot for Worldhost at the stunning Portavadie Resort, located on Loch Fyne along Scotland’s Cowal Peninsula. Around forty miles from Glasgow, this beautiful resort combines luxury and nature, making it the perfect backdrop for capturing a range of dynamic images.

The two-day shoot aimed to showcase all aspects of the resort, from corporate headshots of the leadership team to the serene spa facilities and the breathtaking infinity pool that overlooks the glistening waters of Loch Fyne. Portavadie truly offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure.

One of the highlights of the project was photographing the local seafood—freshly sourced right from the Loch. From oysters to scallops, not only did I have the chance to shoot these culinary delights, but I also got to sample them – an absolute treat! The combination of local ingredients, fresh from the waters of Loch Fyne, with the incredible surroundings, made for some truly mouth-watering shots.
